I do not remember a time when I was not involved in sports. I played multiple sports throughout high school and college football for 4 years. After college, I coached several sports at the jr. high and varsity levels in the Mars Area School District (where I teach 7th grade social studies) and ran in several marathons including the Boston Marathon. My coaching career was paused when my son Jack was born. As a new parent with limited time to workout, I discovered some “high-intensity” workouts that required a fraction of the time to complete compared to a 15-20 mile run. After a couple of years dabbling in CrossFit on my own, I decided to join the community at CrossFit RITE. When I walked in the doors of CrossFit RITE in June of 2018, I immediately felt like I was a part of its tribe. Thanks to the awesome encouragement and support of the coaches at RITE, I decided to obtain my CF L-1. I look forward to the opportunity to help people of various athletic abilities reach their performance goals.
